Mavericks Sled Hockey Ability Camp
Date and location TBA
Adaptive skate and hockey activities.
The first Mavericks ability Sled Hockey & Ice Skating camp was held in 2014 partnering with the City of Independence Parks and Recreation Department and the KC Mavericks Hockey Team. This event was also supported by the St. Louis Blues, Paralympic gold medalist Josh Paul’s and USA Hockey. The response from this event was overwhelming with one of the outcomes being the need of a Kansas City sled hockey team and another event scheduled for 2017!
A vendor area will be available for additional opportunities throughout the Greater Kansas City area.
Are there age requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No. We only ask that small children be accompanied by a guardian.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We do not provide transportation.
Vendor donations appreciated / Est. value $50
